Time Flies. So Do I.

I should be doing my English speech but I shall take a break and update. Well last week was fun and tiring. My birthday was on Monday and THANKS EVERYONE :) Love you all heaps but not the punches. Ouch...And there were a billion assessment tasks on but I only had two. Legal Studies and Maths Ext. I stayed up til 2 the day before Legal essay was due and talked to Amanda the panda.

That reminds me. Next year I'll be in uni and so will be all the Year 12s who read this blog...which are not many lol. Have we all decided what we want to do? I hope I get into what I want. I wonder what it'll be like in uni. Although it sounds fun, I want to stay in high school without the HSC part in it. High school is the only place where I see everyone in our grade and talk to people you might not talk to often. Once we're out of high school, we're going to be "adults". Hopefully we'll still be able to have fun like we do now. We must take a muck up photo on the last day of school with the whole grade! I wonder who's going to cross-dress :D

Before I go and kill myself doing English...

Last weekend I watched One Tree Hill with my cousin because she brought it over. And it's good! I want to watch more now. "Clothes over bros." Yep LOL

Okay shee you's all later.

When I grow up I want to draw

This ruined my view of My Neighbour Totoro (thanks a lot Lisa)

Next week will be when our assessments start! Good luck everyone :) Anyhows I should be studying for maths but obviously that's not happening. However, my brains are about to blow from researching for legal essay - all I'm thinking about is surrogacy, children's rights, adoption and artificial conception *sigh* So if anyone wants to adopt a child and wants advice call my advice line: 0298345267, open 7 days, 24 hours. I know, I'm dedicated and nocturnal.

But let's stay on topic (hint = read the title). Lisa kind of persuaded me to write about this so you guys can go bombard her :D Well after HSC Lisa and I are going to attempt to make a break in the world of art, in particular manga. So basically we plan to collaborate and draw, draw and draw until our hands feel like jelly. But right now I know nothing about digital art because I love colour pencils! Besides pencils are so much simpler. That's why after all these stressful exams, I'll do my best to learn about digital art and I bet you I won't succeed. Oh well...and I'll buy a tablet and go poor. I want to become famous by drawing ^o^ That would be very very very awesome.

Last holidays, Lisa and I entered a competition hosted by Madman Entertainment and Borders. We had to draw a 5-pg manga of the characters from Fruits Basket (a manga) on a holiday in Australia. I almost died and Lisa's brain turned to dust from digital art. Sadly we didn't win but it was a good experience. For those who are interested in reading the manga we drew you can read it by downloading it from the link below. However, it might be confusing if you haven't read Fruits Basket.

Finally, donations are welcome HAHAHAH (Lisa made me say it) We're being serious and we'll try our best :D If you would like to donate please contact me via email xP

NB: To be read in traditional Japanese way i.e. from right to left.

Disturbia, am I scaring you tonight?

On Saturday David and I went to Angela's place to make the Disturbia sign. We actually started at 4ish even though we got there at 12ish. Oh, this time it was David who brought only $7. We went to eat at the sushi train at Liverpool and ended up eating $53 dollars worth of food. Since David only had $7, Angela and I decided to leave him there to wash the dishes.

Social was yesterday and it was fun ^^ Blink>9000 and Sam's Permission were better than Pluto Goneskies. To be honest, I didn't even know what Pluto were singing. The kitchen became a place for people to store their bags and drink from the tap >.> (We should've charged people to keep their bags there) We managed to sell all the donuts and drinks and made around $300! Most people dressed up but best dressed was Leon! Eddie and Laurence who said they weren't coming came - Eddie was in scrubs and Laurence in a beanie. It was a fun night with many good memories. I'm glad I went because how many times will you catch Leon dressed up as a mama LOL

Favourites. They're Chocolates.

Horrible weather for the past weeks...ugh. So to brighten the day here's a long post about dear old moi.

Here's a difficult question to get your brains in a knot: What do I love? (no its not a trick question)

1. Books, books, books, books and a worm.

Back in primary, my sister and I decided to count how many books we had excluding dictionaries and the like. We ended with a number over 200. And now we just can't be bothered to update that number. We have 3 bookshelves and a mini bookshelf but no space left to put our books. That's why if you come to my house there are books everywhere :D I judge books by their covers AND it works :P Recommended for YOU: Elsewhere, Wicked Lovely, Pride and Prejudice, Little Women, The Ghost's Child, This Charming Man, The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas and the library.

2. My piano :) and anything related

Yesh itsh shiny and polished. Started playing in Yr 7 and plan to race through formal lessons after HSC. I haven't played any new pieces lately because don't have any. If anyone knows any nice piano pieces please tell me T-T The piano is the best instrument ever and the music you can play is *sigh*

3. TVB and Japanese dramas and Gossip Girl and Korean movies

WOOT!!! Got a massive headache from watching 5 hours of GG the other day. I was actually looking for My Tutor Friend 2 and happened to find a DVD with the remaining episodes of Season 1. And that's when I sat down, stared at Nate and thought how cool Serene, Blaire, Chuck and Nate looked as a group from 7-12. Now I want Season 2. Okay thanks guys.

I stopped watching TVB series because of the *bom bom bom* HSC. You know the gist - no time, too much work, yadidadida. Rosy Business looks good though... I have been watching TVB since I was a young tot and I think it's the only reason why I know Cantonese today. Besides, despite some crappy series being produced in recent years it's still worth watching. Hmm recommendations would be: The Legend of the Condor Heroes (1982), EU and Moonlight Resonance.

Now I get to rant on about dramas ^o^ Japanese dramas are the best. The ones I've watched are all funny and have very good plots. Now for those studying Japanese and those who aren't watch: Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango, My Boss My Hero.

Korean dramas are mostly cry cry cry so its boring. But the movies aren't. I just watched 200 Pounds of Beauty for the third time on the weekend and it's sooo good. If anyone's interested ask me :)

4. Manga, anime, okonomiyaki, green tea, Final Fantasy and all things Japanese

Final Fantasy VII by Nadou on DeviantArt (how cool does it look??!!)

Yum, okonomiyaki. I could eat that for breakfast, lunch and tea. I stopped watching anime regularly for a few years now. It started with Bleach xD and I never was into Naruto. I am watching Ouran Boys Host Club which is pretty good and funny :D I think I have spent over $300 buying manga...oh well, the art is so pretty! Wish I could draw like that. When I go to Japan I'm going to come back with a tonne of things. Sigh.

5. Music dododo

DO YOU LISTEN TO MUSIC? Of course we all do with the latest trend of having earplugs jammed in your ear pounding out music at 1000 decibels and eventually leading to RIP ears. I do have an iPod but I do not listen to my music at an excessively loud volume. So what's in for me? Well I listen to anything that's good. Currently obsessing over Super Junior's new album *sigh*...*sigh* at Si Won too. Anyways, I like to bop to Taylor Swift's new song You Belong With Me too haha.

6. Last but not least my friends and family.

Okay who doesn't put this in their list of what they love? It's slightly cliche but not for me! Without your friends and family we might as well go live in the sewerage drain. I know some teenagers sometimes whinge whinge whinge about their parents and bitch bitch bitch about their friends. Good ole teenage angst :D But how can you forget the memories with them?

Congrats on actually reading this whole post. I know I type a lot >.> but I don't blog often. So who got their brains (or knickers) in a knot? Ciao for now.
